Oakland

Oakland is our busiest coverage area and just across the estuary from our base. We staff construction sites in Downtown and Uptown, warehouses and yards along the airport and port corridor, retail along International Boulevard and Fruitvale, and apartment communities from Temescal to East Oakland.

Property crime patterns in Oakland shift block by block, so we don't sell one package. The site walk looks at what's actually happening on your property, and the written plan puts officers where they change outcomes: the loading dock, the parking structure, the front door at closing time.

Officers assigned to Oakland posts are briefed on the neighborhood, the property, and your escalation contacts before the first shift, and our operations team keeps in contact throughout the night.
